Have any of you guys seen Borderlands?

for me personally aion isnt really cutting it and im finding myself fairly bored alot of the time... Borderlands kind of caught my eye and im tempted to get it... was just wondering if any of you guys have seen it and are thinking of getting it?

i saaaw it and watched a few trailers but cant decide whether to get it or not.. its meant to be quite samey and sucks if you play solo

convince me to buy this "borderlands"

its an fps turned mmo which looks kinda awesome but a bit grindy.. the graphics look awesome though, kinda cel shaded

got this last night, so far really fun, ended up playing till 1am (at work now...so very sleepy)

not really mass multiplayer, up to 4 person co-op. but you keep your char, so if you leave a game you can take the same char into a game with different ppl (helps if your at the same point as others tho)

cant really tell you much more since not really done much on it yet, i do know you can play it thru like an instance group if you want, with tank healer and dps, the other thing i've learnt is not to take cover behind explosive barrels when people are shooting you :(

never heard of shattered horizons, will have a look at it.

After having a look at it, I probably will get it, but not til payday (tomorrow yay!)

I'm also thinking of going back to WoW though...

dont do it! wow will eat your soul and leave you an empty wreck!

dont think i could go back to wow... think that game has run its course for me...ill never say never.. but its unlikely that ill play it again... not properly anyway.

on the other hand think im gonna cancel my aion account, even after not playing it for a what must be nearly a week now i dont find myself wanting to play it.

I thought the game had run it's course for me too, but when I hear people talking about their games I do kind of get a bit nostalgic. I wouldn't wanna raid or anything though, just fuck about. Since I've cancelled my Aion sub too, it's probably a bit pathetic but I can't imagine not having an MMO to play! I'll have to smoke and think about this.

i'm definitely not going back to wow, i only really liked raiding and stuff and i has no time for it, and we did most of it anyway..
but aion has another month with me to prove itself!

yea wow used to be good fun... but the expansion ruined it for me i think... it jsut didnt have the same polished feel to it, and it wasnt as much of an achievement to get a full epic character... or to do well in arenas.. you just had to play with overpowered classes... which ended up being a ball ache
